As a destination wedding photographer, I am always seeking out unique and breathtaking locations. When Steph and Ryan told me they wanted an engagement session that reflected their adventurous spirits, we knew there was no better place than Rocky Mountain National Park.

The day began in the early hours before sunrise, with Steph, Ryan and I setting out on a 7-mile hike uphill. This turned out to be quite the challenge, but we all powered through for what we knew would be breathtaking vistas! As the sun began to rise, the park transformed into a landscape of unparalleled beauty – crystal-clear lakes, towering evergreens, and rugged mountain peaks bathed in the soft glow of dawn.

A Sunrise Adventure

Steph and Ryan were an absolute joy to photograph. Their connection was palpable as they embraced the natural beauty around them. One of my favorite moments from the session was when they stood by a pristine, turquoise lake, the tranquil water reflecting the majesty of the surrounding mountains. The beautiful serenity was only disturbed by Steph’s infectious laughter that bounced off each of the mountain peaks.
